Paper Talk: Chelsea’s Morata hopes, Kane Real Madrid link
Every Italian paper out this morning is focused on the big week-end in Serie A. Juventus lost at home against Lazio on Saturday, Napoli beat Roma away and Inter managed a late 3-2 win against AC Milan.
Napoli are now the Serie A table leaders with a two-point lead over Inter with the two clubs that will face each other this coming Saturday.
Italian papers, however, are also focused on the incoming Champions League clashes with Roma and Napoli that will face Chelsea and Man City respectively.
As for Chelsea-Roma, the giallorossi fear Alvaro Morata will manage to make return to action in time for tomorrow’s Champions League clash. According toort, the Spaniard will be eligible to play against the Italian tomorrow whilst Gab Marcotti on Il Co La Gazzetta dello Sport,writes that Morata is still a doubt although Conte hopes to recover for tomorrow’s showdown.
Meantime in Spain, Marca reports the interest of Real Madrid for Harry Kane. The England striker is one of the best hit-men in Europe at the moment and the Merengues want to sign a new striker in the summer.
Kane will face Real Madrid in Champions League tomorrow. The Bernabeu clash could be the first one of a long series that he will be playing for the Merengues in the future although Spurs are not open to sell.
The Spanish paper has also interviewed Kane’s teammate Fernando Llorente who has praised Kane claiming that he scores each time that he touches the ball.
